The way that our systems work is really very simple to understand. In the centre of our tanks is an airlift which pulls the water upwards. Around the tank, we have placed peripheral air tubes which force the water down to the bottom. Using these two devices, we ensure that the water is constantly circulated around the main biological water treatment vessel. Once we add the bio-elements to the mixture, the bio-film which is attached to them will start absorbing the harmful compounds contained within the water itself. This bio-film will be torn off the elements due to the shear force created by being twisted around and sent back up through the airlifts. Through this ingenious method, the technicians at Createch Aqua ApS have created a biological water treatment method which does away with excessive bio-film build up and the need for sludge removal.
